AA2XB - Frank (37) | Well another year down the drain and thanks to SKCC I made a lot of new friends this year. I have been using my sideswiper the past few months and now find it easier to use than my old j-38 or vibroplex bugs. I had been pounding that j-38 for 20 years and before joining SKCC had never used a bug or even heard of a cootie key. Now I am really enjoying CW. Thanks all. |
F5DE - Bernard (29) | not a big count, but the best
for me in 2012, hi ! 73 es HNY everybody ! |
K7CHS - Rick (24) | Thanks to all I contacted 73 |
K8JD - John (95) | My largest group of members were the newbies 9000-9999 numbers. Second largest in the 1000-1999 group, long timers still participating. December was a fun month for me on the air. |
KX1NH - Randy (54) | Managed to get some time in between visits from relatives. I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and New Year. Will be listening for everyone in K3Y. 73 Randy |
N3PDT - Doug (73) | Well, I proven to myself, that a
little goal setting goes a long way for me. It's been a fun year, and the
first one I've turned in a brag every month. Wish I'd figured out earlier how
to motivate myself towards making more contacts! I'd like to thank Brian K7TKT for taking on the Monthly Brag and keeping it alive. I like to express my appreciation for each and every SKCC member I contacted this year. And I'd say how much I appreciate all the volunteers that do the actual work it takes to keep us going. Thank you one and all. See you next year. |
W0SZV - Eldon (54) | busy month. 19 reg members with no c or t |
W1UV - Rick (17) | Got a new rig in December, an FT-450D, which has given me a lot of flexibility and mobility on the bands. Made 17 "brag" QSOs in December, for me a good month since I don't try that hard to make SKCC contacts. Of the 17, 8 were QRP running 5 watts to a sloping 20M dipole. A particular "brag" is my QSO with John, ZS6JBJ 7900 miles away in South Africa, running 5 watts at my end. That was "real cool" hihi. |
W4JBB - Joel (31) | Best month so far with SKCC. I finally got motivated to work on my "C." |
W7GVE - Ed (85) | Another great month--- I
mentioned this Brag to some folks-- I hope they will begin to send in their
reports...I hope that 10 and 12 pick
up this year... Gud luck to all in 2013 73/ED W7GVE |
WA2JSG - Curt (8) | Happy New Year to all! |

January | |
AA2XB - Frank (17) | What a great activity K3Y is. Where else could you work 6 continents in one month. I put in many hours to accomplish my goal and was lucky to make a grand sweep and get my WAC award. Thanks to all the skcc'ers who made it possible. 73 de Frank. |
F5DE - Bernard (23) | Only 23 brag QSO, other QSO
where done during SKSE, WES and K3Y anniversary events. 73 and see you soon ! Bernard. |
K7CHS - Rick (101) | I have put away my mic for a year so I can become more proficient at CW. Thanks Ed (W7GVE) for the encouragement and thanks to all I contacted. |
K8JD - John (81) | This month I had lots of free
time in daylight hours to snag some 20M QSOs. Discounted all QSOs with K3Y stations. |
KF7EST - Allen (2) | Just now catching up in May on my Brag stats... January wasn't much to brag about for me but I did manage a few SKCC contacts above and beyond the a few that I made with K3Y |
KX1NH - Randy (34) | Spent most of my time chasing K3Y sttions but still had time for some brag QSOs. Most were done at 5 watss with the K3 I built during the month. CUL and thanks for the fun 72/73 Randy |
N3PDT - Doug (14) | What a month! January really gets a great start to SKCC activities, doesn't it? I made 326 SKCC related QSOs, 200 of them as K3Y/0 - an experience I highly recommend. Don't think you don't have "enough" station or skills to be a K3Y op - you do. |
W0SZV - Eldon (54) | Had a ball with k3y and getting just bragg contacts |
W5ALT - Walt (10) | It's been awhile since I had time to play radio, so these QSO's were very enjoyable. Thanks to all! |
W7GVE - Ed (103) | Another great month for me---- made a clean sweep of K3Y stations and picked up 62 new SKCC numbers--- Also worked Malpelo and Pitcairn Islands--- This is the best lifetime hobby a person could have...73 ED-W7GVE |
WA2JSG - Curt (15) | Busy month for SKCC. |
WB5JWI - Les (37) | K3Y leads to a LOT of non-K3Y activity as well. January is a fun month (over 113 total QSOs including all). |
February | |
AA2XB - Frank (9) | Low brag count due to fact that February is such a short month. HI Hi. Will have more days in March to increase count. |
F5DE - Bernard (3) | Only three brag contacts this
month, just enough to be in the list, hi ! hpe to do better next time. 73 to all, Bernard. |
K8JD - John (34) | I missed a week+ due to a trip to FL without any ham gear, but was a great time with family and warm, sunny WX ! |
KF7EST - Allen (1) | Another very slow month for me - 5 total contacts, only 1 with an SKCC member - may have contacted a few in WES but all in all I don't think I was on the radio that much sadly. |
N3PDT - Doug (26) | Nothing really brag about in
February, but always a pleasure to work the SKCC members. Especially enjoy
when we take a few minutes (or more) to chat. Thanks to all! See you in March. |
W0SZV - Eldon (34) | Fun month. looking forward to March |
W5ALT - Walt (9) | I had a chance to play some more in February. |
W7GVE - Ed (104) | Another very enjoyable month---- Now I am at the point where I have so many callsigns in my head that I cant remember everyone--- This month I picked up 62 new numbers and passed the 2000 mark for unique SKCC menbers worked.... The SKCC can brag also they passed the 9000 member mark 73 ED- W7GVE |
WA2JSG - Curt (6) | Love the SKCC! |
March | |
AA2XB - Frank (25) | Thanks to all of you who answered my call and made the month fly by and a special thanks to those who gave their advice about those emails. |
F5DE - Bernard (12) | During this March Brag
activity, Glad to do contacts with a new country : DU3/W5LFA, Jerry and a young man for his first Europe QSO : KB1WMR, Ethan. 73 to all and see you soon ! Bernard, F5DE. |
K7CHS - Rick (15) | I spent way to much time working on radio hardware instead of working the radio, hi hi |
KB0ETU - Phil (7) | Not many, but better than January (1) and February (0) so I'm making progress. All were QRP. |
KF7EST - Allen (7) | A few more SKCC contacts this month. Passed my Extra Class exam at the end of the month but wasn't issued new call until 4/04/2012. |
N3PDT - Doug (42) | A little better month than February for me here. Got a fair number of new numbers, and of course, worked a lot of old friends. Always enjoy a rag chew, long or short. Thanks to all. |
W0SZV - Eldon (36) | Had a fun month. Looking forward to a better one in April. Looking for WES now |
W5ALT - Walt (7) | At least I made a few QSOs again this month. |
W7GVE - Ed (92) | Still a great month considering
that I suffered from a broken mast and had to make due with a hastily built 20m inverted vee. But still great QSOs -- Thanks to Rick, K7CHS I now have my OCF Dipole back up in the sky.. also muchas dunkas to Brian for the work he does on the brag..73 ED-- W7GVE |
WA2JSG - Curt (4) | Slow month for me for SKCC
contacts. Facebook users: join our little SKCC Group... www.facebook.com/groups/3329834231/ |
April | |
AA2XB - Frank (10) | Slow month for SKCC contacts but had several non member qso's. |
AD7GR - Ed (4) | Back on CW on 4/27/12 after 28 years away. Had quit CW for RTTY when I upgraded to Extra in 1984... boo... hiss. My fist and mind needs much improvement to regain my lost skills. |
F5DE - Bernard (8) | I was very busy this
month, not many QSO for the brag, but a few ones during SKSE and WES. See you soon everybody ! "73 SKCC" from France ! |
K7CHS - Rick (24) | Thanks for all the QSO's and
chats. This has really helped my CW. Thanks to all! 73 |
K8JD - John (26) | Not my best month but had fun with SKS and WES (not counted for brag!) |
KB0ETU - Phil (9) | Keep running out of month. Hope to work more of you this month. 72/73 Phil |
KF7EST - Allen (2) | Both contacts made prior to new call being issued. Took a rest from all that Extra Studying. Looking forward to a good May. |
N3PDT - Doug (32) | Seems like I was busier than just 32 Q's this month. Enjoyed each and every one of them, for sure. Had a number of good ragchews with SKCC members. That's always my favorite. |
W0SZV - Eldon (21) | Backwards month for me. 21 for Brag and 34 for the sprints. All fun as usual. Ten Tec Jupiter/1200ft loop and cootie key |
W4FOA - Tony (2) | Looks like only 2 SKCC QSOs for
W4FOA in April (outside of the
sprints). Not really much to brag
about, is it? 73 Looks like only 2 SKCC QSOs for W4FOA in April (outside of the sprints). Not really much to brag about, is it? 73 |
W4RQ - Rich (50) | The SKCC is a good thing for me.
I enjoy meeting the other members and swapping NR's but also just to chat
with many of you. The club gives me a good opportunity to operate more and
that is what I need to improve my skills. CW doesn't come easy, with me it's
always a work in progress. Hopefully will see Y'all on the air. |
W5ALT - Walt (5) | Not much time with travels and school this month, but at least I did get on the air a little! |
W7GVE - Ed (97) | Another great month for me even
with below average antenna-- the antenna should be back up to snuff very soon....I had 176 sprint QSOS ----I hope to catch 7O6T this month-- will take some luck... CU next month..73 ED |
WA2JSG - Curt (1) | Thanks to Will K4WAL for my only
Brag contact in April 2012. I gotta get hoppin' again here! ( hi hi ) |
WB8YXF - Fr Richard (9) | Well another month gone by and very few QSOs due to schedule, didn't even get a chance for last wkends WES.... Gots to work on this.... 73 and God Bless |
May | |
AA2XB - Frank (24) | Really got into the swing of things with my newly acquited sideswiper. However I have no idea how old it is or who made it. There is a picture of it on the sks soapbox comment of 5/23. I put the small key on an old bug base I had to keep it from moving around. Has anyone ever seen one like it before? |
AC2C - Ron (15) | Not a good month, but I'm trying to get back into the habit of submitting a monthly count. |
AD7GR - Ed (10) | A month of firsts... first SKS, first Brag month, and the first full month since my return to CW on April 27th. Not sure if I had a goal for May but I'd like to average at least five SKCC contacts a week for June. Hard to do during a busy summer. I'm using my handmade Amp style and sideswiper keys. Thanks for your patience as I work to improve my fist. I am very rusty. |
AE7TG - Allen (26) | Best month of the year for me so far! New Cushcraft R8 vertical antenna installed on 6/11 (was off the air about a week). Hope everyone has a great month. 73, AE7TG - Allen |
F5DE - Bernard (20) | Only 20 brag QSO this
month, Six new members logged. 73 to all and see you soon ! |
K7CHS - Rick (16) | Had limited time on the air in May because of severe RFI caused from nearby power line issues and I have been studying for the Extra Class test to be taken this weekend in Las Vegas. Ed W7GVE is driving me up there so he can be my cheering section. Hopefully there will be something to cheer about!! |
K7IFG - Ken (82) | Hope to be on 60 meter CW
soon. Some great contacts with
DX stns on 17 and 15 meters. 73 de Ken, K7IFG |
K7TKT - Brian (3) | Brag for this month is not the QSO count (really low) but facing the black widows in the basement to get a transmission line into my office. This lets me have the radio on in the background during the day. June count is looking a lot better due to the new coax run. 73, Brian |
K8JD - John (44) | Most of my QSOs were with member
numbers in the 7000s, next were in the 8000s, least were in the 1-999 range
(only one). Where are those early members, getting tired of exchanging numbers ? On fone? too bad. |
KB0ETU - Phil (8) | Not great, but better than nothing. Hope to work more of you on the air. 72/73 Phil |
KJ5WU - Kurt (32) | Ive really enjoyed contacting and getting to know the members. Thanks! |
W0SZV - Eldon (4) | Bad month all around. Too many trips away from home this month and running portable not possible. Hope to do better in June |
W5ALT - Walt (5) | Well, I managed to get a few QSO's besides the WES this month. It's all fun! |
W7GVE - Ed (73) | My count was down just a bit in May, but still a fun month-- Notable DX (for me anyway) was FR5DZ--D3AA-4L0A--MJ0CFW--TM0CI--and ZQ2FK-- I wish they were all SKCC members-- Lets have a great June!!! -ED |
WA2JSG - Curt (9) | Better month for me on my brags. |
WB8YXF - Fr Richard (16) | Thank you all for the few contacts I did have in May, even got a chance to work the SKS. Praying that some things will settle down soon in order to get on the air more in June. 73 & God Bless |
WU1V - Rick (10) | This is my first brag! |
June | |
AA2XB - Frank (15) | For July only I am hooking up my mike to work the 13 Colony event.May not have to do that next year as thanks to SKCC members there has been a number of cw ops this year. Dick, K2RFP, what a great job on the spotter page, but you are making it too easy to get a clean sweep. |
F5DE - Bernard (8) | Eight brag QSO during June is
not a huge number! But I was glad to
get my first non-european SKCC member with KO1U on 6 meters. Thank you Mark
for your patience listening to my weak signals. After some tries, we did it
! During the season I hope to have more contacts over the pond on 50 MHz but I do not forget the HF bands of course ! 73 to all and see you soon ! Bernard. |
K7TKT - Brian (12) | June was a better month for me. Moving the radio to the office helped a lot. The high point was working Pablo (KP4SJ) on a number of bands. I also enjoyed several longer QSOs with new members such as Larry (AB6OJ). 73, Brian |
K8JD - John (29) | Spent too much time playing with
new 6M SSB rig working new states, GridSquares ! July looks better for SKCC wk. |
KJ5WU - Kurt (26) | Thanks Bert (F6HKA) for 3
different bands. It didnt help Brag
any except for the 1st one, but I still enjoyed the contacts. It was a pretty good month for me
considering how poor the bands were for most of the month. Thanks everyone
for the contacts. Kurt KJ5WU 9037 |
W0SZV - Eldon (8) | too many irons in the fire this month. hoping for better results in July |
W5ALT - Walt (11) | Lots of fun with SKCC this month, even with Field Day and other things to keep me busy. |
W7GVE - Ed (74) | A nice month once again--I
worked 32 new numbers ---- DX
was hard to find--- bands were mostly down--- still enjoyable. ED/ W7GVE |
WU1V - Rick (17) | June was a decent month for me brag-wise. In addition to my 17 non-sprint SKCC QSOs indicated here I also made several nice contacts on the sprints. These combined with my July stats as of the July 8 WES launched me to Centurion status. My June brag QSOs were as SKCC member #9293, the "C" was added to my member no. in July, of course. |
July | |
F5DE - Bernard (14) | Always a pleasure to have some
contacts with SKCC friends. 73 to all and have a nice summer season ! Bernard. |
K7CHS - Rick (0) | Just wanted to let you all know I am still around. Had very few QSO for the month and no SKCC #s I just got very busy with radio projects and finally learning the paddle and keyer thanks to Ed W7GVE's encouragement. I will see you all this weekend for the WES. 73 |
K7TKT - Brian (10) | My July count was lower than I'd
like but at least I managed to participate in the Brag for a 3rd month in a
row. It was nice having long QSOs and
getting to know some new members. 73, Brian |
K8JD - John (65) | I spent a lot of the hottest days inside with A/C and ham gear running this month. Logged a lot of new members numbers. |
KB0ETU - Phil (3) | Not much. Better luck in August.....maybe. 72/73 Phil #4542T |
KB3SZZ - Ed (59) | I really enjoyed chewing the rag with everyone and collecting numbers to go towards the Centurion Award. 73, Ed |
KX1NH - Randy (31) | 6 meter openings this month kept me jumping around between bands. Did manage to work 2 members on 6 - tnx KO1U and K4GM. Spent most of the rest of my time on 20M or the novice portion of 40M (sure is nice without Radio Moscow and BBC...best thing to happen to that part of 40M was losing all the old BCST stations). Had a nice surprise to work Andy, E51AND for a new country. CU all on the bands 73 Randy |
N3PDT - Doug (65) | After such a dismal brag log last month, I set a goal of 2 brag QSOs/day for July. Some days I didn't get it, and some days I did a little better. Hit my goal plus 3! Thanks to each and every one. Although a number were quick numbers exchanges, I was able to engage in a little chit chat with a large number of ops. Really enjoyed them all. Think I'll keep my 2-a-day goal for August too! |
W0SZV - Eldon (12) | only 12 and 10 were reg numbers and 2 were "C"'s conditions bad and not a lot of available time this month. |
W5ALT - Walt (3) | Not much time with work schedule, but enjoyed the few QSO's as always. SKCC is always the high point of my play time! |
W7GVE - Ed (51) | I was down in total QSOs this
month, but still had some great contacts--- Finished the month by working Phil, V5/F5JHW In Namibia, and began this month by working Jirka OK5NN and I will check and see how many SKCC countries I have worked--- Keep pounding the brass folks, its good fun! 73///ED |
WU1V - Rick (9) | Not a lot to "brag" about hihi. Did a lot better in the SKCC contests. Only 9 non-contest QSOs with SKCC members this month, but that's okay. It's always a pleasant thing to encounter other SKCCs any time in non-contest venues. Our membership numbers are growing by leaps and bounds. Any month now we'll pass 10,000! 73, Rick |
August | |
AA2XB - Frank (22) | Wow, is it just me or has this summer flown by. Seems each month leaves less time to play radio. |
F5DE - Bernard (4) | Only four brag QSO this month, just enough to be on the list ! |
K7CHS - Rick (13) | Spent more time listening to the radio copying code to get better than I did having contacts. |
K7TKT - Brian (29) | Another good month for me. I enjoyed meeting some new members as well as QSOs with old friends. The high point was working Kang (HL5NLQ) in Asia towards SKCC WAC. 73, Brian |
K8JD - John (58) | A good month for me, I even have several new Member numbers from 60M CW operation.. |
KB0ETU - Phil (7) | An improvement over the past several months and considering I was on the road for most of the month, this was pretty good for me. Not a "barn burner" but at least I'm still making some contacts. 72/73 Phil |
KX1NH - Randy (53) | Most brag contacts this month were done with the K3 at 10 watts. Hanging around 7.114 mostly working QRS. Lot's of fun. Looking forwrd to winter and quieter bands. CU all next month. 73 Randy |
N3PDT - Doug (66) | Two months in a row of my 2-a-day goal. Worked a number of 9200+ numbers, plus a bunch of old friends. Thanks again to all, and hope to work you next month, too. 73 |
W0SZV - Eldon (32) | Was a good month for me. Had a great time and met a lot of new members |
W1UV - Rick (40) | I spent a lot of my on-the-air time at or near the SKCC calling frequency, hence a big jump in my August brag from the brags of the past two months. Two of my brags are worth "bragging" about, a QSO with Paul VK5GX in Australia and one with Danny KF7TDF in Wyoming. Closing in on a WAS award, if only I can contact VT, HI, and AK! See y'all next month! |
W5ALT - Walt (11) | Lots of fun, as always. I wish I had more time to play! |
W7GVE - Ed (100) | A great month for me.. worked 44 new SKCC numbers and now have worked 2237 unique SKCC members//Also had 214 sprint QSOS and on the DX front worked D64K, RI1FJ, 9H3KB and Phil F5JWH down in Namibia--CU om SEP!! 73 ED, W7GVE |
September | |
AA2XB - Frank (5) | Last ditch effort to get on the board for the month. September just flew by and by the time I realized it was over. |
F5DE - Bernard (20) | A few more brag QSO than last
month, autumn is now installed so I think and I hope to be more present on the SKCC frequencies for doing some more friendly SKCC contacts ! See you soon es 73 de Bernard, F5DE. |
F6HKA - Bert (217) | Very good conditions all bands specially high bands. Work a lot of new stations and could play QRP. Thanks everybody. 73 and see you in the others SKCC activities. Bert |
K7CHS - Rick (9) | Thank you to all the SKCC members I worked in September |
K7TKT - Brian (11) | Spent most of my September radio time installing new 43' vertical so not very many contacts this month. Got the antenna on the air mid October. Currently it is at 34' but as the tree it is hidden in grows, the antenna can grow too. (That tree will be getting regular fertilizer :-) Very happy with the antenna so far. Thanks for the QSOs. 73, Brian |
K8JD - John (47) | Got tied up working SSB during 10M openings. could have been hunting SKCC numbers :( |
KB0ETU - Phil (4) | I swear I had more time to get things done when I was working. I'm lucky to get several sprints in during the month. I'll try to do better this month, but all bets are off. Anyway, hope to work many of you doing the WES or SKS. |
KO1U - Mark (406) | Quite a few members have been pestering me about my not submitting a Monthly Brag for the past year and a half so here is my first. At the same time a few SKCC DXers got me chasing DX which did not pan out so I had several low total days so this is not my best month. Big tnx to all the members who QSO me every month. Special tnx to John-ZS6JBJ for finishing my 7 band WAC, Baltasar-EA8BVP 7 bands AF 2xQRP all this month and Jack-KI0I for monthly unique QSO #400 and also who got me started in the Group. Only 1 new C/T. 83 DX, 39 countries. 257 new numbers. I have Logged a handful over 5K unique members so far. Today is Oct 1st...Lets get going-AS is awake! |
KX1NH - Randy (27) | Nice weather so spent most time outside. Got a "new" Czech army straight key so it should see some action in the coming months. 73 |
N3PDT - Doug (54) | Well, I didn't quite make my 2 a day this month. Had a 2.5 week freelance job that kept me pretty busy. Did get to work a number of brand new members, and a couple sub-#1000 members that were new to me. Was happy that I was able to engage a in a number of nice chats while collecting this month. Thanks to all, and see you next month! Going to try to up my average to 2.5/ QSOs a day for October. Hope I'm not reaching. |
W0SZV - Eldon (23) | Lower numbers this month but had a good time. |
W4JBB - Joel (17) | This is my first month
submitting a brag file. Had fun over
the past month. Hope to increase my
unique numbers next month. |
W5ALT - Walt (5) | Not much time with trip to JA land, but fun to make a few QSOs. SKCC is always the highlight of my operating, even for a few QSOs' |
W7GVE - Ed (69) | My numbers are down just a bit this month, but I have many diversions--- I spent 5 days operating as W6F the Route 66 on the air event and made 250 contacts for them-- Notable DX was NH8S, 3D2C 5W1SA XP2I T88X. The SKCC sprints remain a great source of pleasure...73/ED |
WB8YXF - Fr Richard (2) | Well another month has gone by and I haven't been on the air much..... Maybe in October..... God Bless y'all! |
WU1V - Rick (8) | Not a lot to "brag" about, but I had fun anyway. I kind of took it easy this month, smelled the roses. |
October | |
AA2XB - Frank (23) | Had more time to play radio this month, last contact was on 10/29 with KA2PJO. On 10/30 Sandy thought I was having too much fun and took down my antennas. Still raining and windy and will have to wait for conditions to improve before getting antennas back in the air. |
F6HKA - Bert (179) | Propagation was not as good as
September but still another great month. Thanks everybody and see you in all
events. 73 Bert |
K7TKT - Brian (39) | A very good month for me. Spent nearly all my air time in the first half of the month installing my new vertical antenna. Really enjoyed having a full sized multi-band antenna. This helped my count quite a bit...I think this is my best month ever and I only worked 1/2 of it! Thanks for the QSOs. 73, Brian |
K8JD - John (61) | Many of the members I worked in Nov. were above #9000. ! |
KX1NH - Randy (34) | Most contacts were made around 7.114. Usually monitor that frequency while doing other things around the shack. |
N3PDT - Doug (62) | Work reared its ugly head again this month, and I wasted a lot of precious operating time making money instead. On the other hand, I did keep up a 2/day pace and had a lot of nice rag chews, picked up a good number of new members, and even dredged up some members that had been inactive. To top it off, I spent the last 4 days of the month operating /P from Arkansas and made a good number of SKCC contacts from there. I think the 2.5 QSO/day goal was actually doable, but I just worked too much. So, I'm keeping the 2.5 a day goal for November and see how it pans out. Thanks to all. I really enjoy working on my brag log each month. |
W0SZV - Eldon (38) | Lots of Duplicates this month. 17 of my 38 didn't have a C or T. Looking forward to the SKSE |
W5ALT - Walt (2) | Not too much radio time, but at least I did have some fun. |
W7GVE - Ed (80) | Another satisfying month--- I
discovered that I have worked the equivalent of the FISTS NANFA Award SKCC
members in all 10 call areas with suffixes beginning with A thru Z. Best dx was P29NI and 5T5BV...CU on the air! 73 ED |
WA2JSG - Curt (8) | Haven't missed a Brag Month since it started. I just wish I had more time to participate. Retirement soon will fix that! ;-) |
WB8YXF - Fr Richard (23) | Thanks to all of the SKCC Staff for all the hard work they do to keep us having fun. Winter is among us as we head into this cold season. I am still praying for those of us who have been affected by the storms of recent memory. 73 |
WD9DWE - Dennis (14) | had great time of course band was strnage with the hurricane and the artic front. |
WU1V - Rick (10) | Didn't go all out this month either, but 10 QSOs isn't bad. |
November | |
AA2XB - Frank (54) | Sandy took down my antennas beginning of the month. After several days I got them back up and spent a lot more time on the air. Highlights were a duel with Pete W5PEH. My 1915 Blue racer and his 1914 Blue racer. After the smoke cleared he was declared the winner. Then I sideswiped Bert W5ZR, had a nice cootie exchange with Randy KX1NH and a nice long qso with Jim ND9M-great fist. Thanks to all members who made this a very enjoyable month. |
F5DE - Bernard (14) | During my daily free time for
radio (abt 20 to 22 UTC), vy difficult this month to find some SKCC friends,
due to bad openings between the two shores of Atlantic ocean ! Never mind, December will be better... I hope ! 73 everybody and see you all soon ! |
K8JD - John (69) | My SKCC # stats; 9000-9999 group had the most and 1000-1999 the second most I worked in Nov. The Fewest were in 5000-5999 group of numbers. Now up to 75 SKCC numbers worked on 60M band. |
KB0ETU - Phil (16) | My best ever! Worked a lot more but they were not members. I did recommend that they check into the SKCCgroup so maybe we'll gain a few more members. Happy holidays. 72/73 Phil KBŘETU |
KX1NH - Randy (37) | Seemed like conditions were not too good this month, at least when I could get on the air. Still managed to torture some ops with various prototyes of my different homebrew key designs for the upcoming December WES. Finally settled on a cootie design and hope to have the "production" model ready for the WES. Hope to CU all then. 73 Randy |
N3PDT - Doug (116) | A personal best month for me - by a long shot. Was shooting for 2.5 QSOs/Day and wound up with 3.88! Had a lot of down time from work, and was nursing a cold the last week, so that translated to a lot of time in the shack, and a lot of fun contacts with fellow SKCC members. Thank you to each and every one. December is a heavy work month, so I've set a lower goal. But who knows? |
W0SZV - Eldon (62) | 8 C's/28 T's and 26 reg numbers was a busy productive month. looking forward to Dec. |
W7GVE - Ed (110) | Another great month--- a high number of my QSOs were for 30 minutes or more--- The last two weeks of the month seemed to have the most activity-- lets hope the trend continues.. Picked up 43 new numbers.. I dont think I have missed Bert F6HKA since the brag started.. See ya in DEC.. 73/ED/W7GVE |
WU1V - Rick (13) | Just taking it easy, no big brag results, but I'm enjoying the SKCC. |
