Fun, but noisy here. Got jumped by a few Missouri Outlaws - thanks Slim, Mitch and Mark. Got a good number of stations I haven't worked in a while, and know I missed a lot of weak ones this time. Now, I'm off to tally those T's - Senator here I come!

N4RAY Operated by: Rodney

Was not a very good night for Qrp, but got W4KRN on my last contact and used the key she sold me, Tnx Karen, and all who worked on pulling out my qrp

Nice conditions on 20m, but a little noisy on 40. Split my time between the two bands. Thanks for the Q's. K3, KPA500, doublet & vertical, K2RFP logger, Begali Camelback key.

KB1OIQ Operated by: Andy

This was my first time using my "new" J37 with the leg clamp. I wore it faithfully for 1.5 hours with no issues. Yes, I wiggled my toes from time to time, just in case. KB4QQJ gets the award for my first QSO with this key. 40m was very busy with several pileups! I snagged a couple of you on 20m also. It wouldn't be an SKCC event if I didn't put N3PDT in the log hi hi. Running 100W G5RV IC746-PRO. Thanks for the fun, everybody, and 73 de Andy KB1OIQ.

WØSZV Operated by: Eldon

Ok, now that was fun. Worked AF2Z Drew at the last minute, just under the wire. Don't know why but this was more fun than I have had in a long time. 1 watt really is effective and really fun. Take care everyone, next time!!!

WU1V Operated by: Rick

I heard PS7HD backscattering on 40M but he couldn't pull out my 5 watts, probably didn't even hear a peep out of me hihi. Also heard Tony K6ELQ loud and clear on 20M and 40M but couldn't raise him. One 2xQRP QSO with Randy KB4QQJ. Worked the full 2 hours but often couldn't make myself heard through all the activity on both 20 and 40 meters, but I love QRP for the challenge and I was happy with my 12 Q's! 72/73, Rick

Spent just about all my time on 20M. My only QSO on 15M was with John, VK4TJ. Couldn't find Steve, VKCW but heard him before SKS. Went back to 20M, worked a few more and then found Nat, PH7HD. Finally went to 40M but noise was very high tonight. Only managed 2 QSO's there before the clock ran out. Fun as usual. See you next month, 73.

W3NP Operated by: Dave

Very good condx on 20 so I stayed there for more than half of the sprint. I did work Nat PS7HD on 20 but it was before the event started and his signal was very weak and watery and he gave me 339. Finished up on 40. I copied some very nice QRP sigs on both bands.
I was QRO for the first SKS event in a long time. Rig: Omni 7 at 85 watts along with the 3 el tribander and my CF zepp. Keys were the Vibroplex anniversary model along with my Junker straight key. It was a very busy 2 hours. 73 de West Virginia.

KG4UPO Operated by: Wiley

A great night here in Virginia for 20M and 40M although 20M faded badly in the last 30 minutes. I worked the Sprint with my trusty K2, J-38 key, and a doublet in the pines at about 30'. Special thanks to the California and Arizona guys who pulled my 5 watt QRP RF out of the pile ups. Thanks to all for an enjoyable and fine Sprint. Courtesy reigns supreme with this group. 73, Wiley, KG4UPO

AF2Z Operated by: Drew

Good sigs on 20 & 40 but had to contend with local QRN wipeouts every few minutes. Tried timing my CQ's to the noise bursts in order to hear the replies... New for me, worked Bob GM3ZDH in Scotland on 20. Also, got a surprise call from new member in Norway, Mick LA5SAA on 40m-- my first SKCC QSO that QTH. After the SKS I heard Mick working lots of SKCCers on 40m, so the band was doing well... I never made it to 80m; have no good antenna there anyway... My rig: Elecraft K3 running 100 watts to a Cobweb antenna in the attic.

Got to use my brand new IC-718. I like it very much.
I used to use the filter between my ears with no problem,
but for a while I was using the OMNI-D and got spoiled by
using the narrow filters in that rig.
So I have to get a CW filter for the 718.

KEØN Operated by: Eliot

This sprint was a real delight. W5ZR about 30 over on 40 meters; N8BB - how does he sound that good with 1 watt? and I had a nice little run around 7.110. The venerable J38 doing the duty with the new TS590 (really nice job fighting adjacent channel QRM.

Looking forward to the WES.
