AB7MP Operated by: Mark

Band conditions weren't the best, but it was fun.

KCØM Operated by: Larry

A good time was had.

KG9HM Operated by: Steve

Tough time again tonight. Gotta check my antenna. Still enjoyed it! 5 watts to an attic dipole all on 20 meters.

N3ADF Operated by: Jim

That was fun after being off the air for two weeks.

KBØETU Operated by: Phil

Had two contacts on 20 meters and three on 40 meters. The bands didn't seem to be cooperating for me tonight. Maybe they'll be better for next month's WES. Hope to hear more of you then. 72/73 Phil

K4KRW Operated by: Richard

Thanks everyone! I had a great time.

KKØI Operated by: Jack

Spent my time on 40 meters for most of the sprint. Went to 80 and managed two contacts...band was noisy, so went back to 40. Ran my new Ten Tec Eagle and used my K4VIZ Cootie Key. As always, a fun event. Thanks for all the contacts folks...see you again...jack

K2HT Operated by: Dick

WA0BGV Slim I am sri I QRMed U! Worked 2 fellow outlaws KI0I es N0UMP. Heard these outlaws but they did not hear me N3PDT, WD0ECO, W0SZV, and WA0BGV. WA1LWS had a excellent fist and very FB signal at my QTH. Condx were up and down but as usual I enjoyed the sprint. Thanks to everyone for the QSO's.

N3PDT Operated by: Doug

Whew. Condx seemed good, but really wasn't able to make that many contacts. Got one fellow Missouri Outlaw, thanks to Mark KI0I. Heard Slim WA0BGV, but missed him due to thinking it was someone else's frequency. Didn't hear Ed W7GVE at all. Might be the first time I haven't.

Thanks to all I worked, and my apologies to the couple I couldn't pull out.

Always an enjoyable event.

K8JD Operated by: John

I quit when I ran out of log page. Mostly on 40M, got 4 QSOs on 20 and one on 80M this time. Nice crowd for the SKS !

K1LEE Operated by: Lee

Good condx from CT, and lots of action - most bands crowded. As usual, more contacts from the west coast than in New England. Fist in good shape from Field Day. Looking forward to next month. See you then, guys. 73, Lee K1LEE

WDØECO Operated by: Mitch

Conditions were better than expected here tonight. Good activity on 20M for the first hour and then moved to the lower bands. 40M was busy.

Only worked a couple of Missouri Outlaws: N0UMP, WA0BGV, and KC0M. Nice to hear you guys!

Also nice to work AE0SL and then find out he was the bonus station!!! TU Stan.

KG9HM - sorry but I just couldn't quite pull you out of the noise. Hope to catch you next time.

Glad to work one of the new members K9JWI SKCC #9379. Welcome Clyde!!!

Elecraft K3 100 watts with Begali Spark.

73, Mitch

WAØBGV Operated by: Slim

Started bad..... Computer hung up..... couldn't find scratch paper fast enough..... lost record of some early contacts ..... Just couldn't seem to get back in the swing of things. Oh well! I'll make up for it next time.
Did work a few of my friends and that makes me happy.
KI0I, N0UMP, WD0ECO heard N3PDT and K0KEX but didn't work them. 73 de Slim

WØSZV Operated by: Eldon

Had a good time and got a few new numbers. managed to get 2 missouri outlaws-n0ump and ki0i

W4CUX Operated by: Bill

Loads of Fun. I used my PFR3 QRP rig again. This time i was QRV to my front porch. Sitting outside listening to the music of CW and the Cicadas. What a way to spend a summer evening. Great contacts tonight. Not as many as last time, but some good reports from all areas except the far west. Looking forward to next time.

The very first station I heard was Stan,AE0SL.
I was already counting my bonus points, but wait, first you have to work him.
That didn't happen!!
So much for shooting fish in a barrel.
Maybe next month.

Of 18 QSOs 9 were not CorT! Glad to see them on the air including one with avery low number (less than 13). Propagation was so so and 20M Wwas noisy but I stayed there the whole time. Great fun as usual even with my late start.

AA2XB Operated by: Frank

First time I was able to work the entire two hours without interruption. Started on 20, then 40 and made most contacts on 80 when I started calling CQ on 3.553.Glad that Dick, K2RFP, answered my call as I had a message for him. Didn't make as many contacts as thought I would but the time just flew by.

AF3Z Operated by: Jim

Got home late... walked the dog... made 2 contacts on 40, then 2 on 20, and 3 dx qsos after the contest on 20... All in all, it felt good to work a little CW.

K5ENA Operated by: John

A little DX on 20M. Good SKS.

Had only 1 hour to work but had fun !!! Running 500mw from the Norcal 40A to the ZeroFive 40 meter vertical. Worked as far South as Florida and out to MO. Used the Llaves straight key ... Thanks all !!!!

K2DEP Operated by: Steve

Again I had a blast playing in this SKS. It's dog eat dog out there. I want to say that it great to see so many people participating in these contests promoting CW. I hope to continue playing in these in the future and hope I can improve my contacts. Thanks to all who responded to my eager calls. Best of 73's to all.
Steve

I must be a dedicated SKS guy--- Had a mild headache, but stayed on the entire 2 hours-- I love working this event-- CU next month.. 73 ED

NA4O Operated by: Mark

Heard AE0SL on two bands, but could not make contact. Sigs generally weak here tonite.

WX4RM Operated by: Ron

Glad for all who were able to pull my MFJ @4watts and vertical ant out of the noise tonite. I became a Centurion this morning, so I was feeling more useful since I am now worth 5 bonus points to all those stations with good hearing who pulled in my peanut whistle signal, hihi. I knew it was a good nite when FG8AR #7386 heard me calling him, now there are some good ears, and possibily ESP. Also got the Bonus station, took a long time for that contact. Thanks to all who listen for me just above the noise level, had fun tonite!

K7TKT Operated by: Brian

This sprint was a lot of fun. CCR limited but so I've been experimenting with just how much extra I can get out of my 20m hex beam at very low heights. I was very pleased with it even at 20 feet. Spent nearly the entire sprint on 20m. My first hour QSO rate was the highest I've ever hit. Thanks for all of the QSOs. 73, Brian

This was my first SKS. Experienced some technical difficulties and 'first timer' jitters. I have not used code for more than 25 years, so with some refresh work I hope do better next month.

PFR-3, ZS6BKW dipole at 30' and a Bendix Navy Flameproof on 40M. Great signals from the Midwest into West Virginia this evening. KI0I, N8KR, K0LUW all 599. Didn't find any 6s or 7s to work. Wish I could've spent more time on the air without interruptions. Gotta' put a lock on the shack door. . .

Lots of QRN here but fun anyway. Will try again next month.

WB8ENE Operated by: Art

Only spent about an hour in the sprint since it was my 30th anniversary, and I wanted to spend some of the evening with my lovely XYL too! These sprints are always enjoyable. Met a couple of new hams as well as working some familiar calls.

Rig is K3 with Begali Blade.

W4HAY Operated by: Frank

Got off to a late start using a temporary 40/20 Meter sloper made from the remains of the trap dipole my neighbor's dead pine tree took down. Surprising how well it gets out, since it's barely high enough so the resident Whitetails won't get it tangled up in their antlers.

As usual, had a ball!

W9SAY Operated by: Chas

Bonus station on two bands, Brazil and Guatemala. Not a lot of of QSOs but life is good.

W1LIC Operated by: Wes

ND9M Operated by: Jim

Fun contest, as usual. My XYL and I just got home shortly before the contest from a 16-state road trip. The antennas at the home QTH are down, so I operated mobile from the driveway. The only trouble I had was forgetting that I'd just made Tribune a few days before, and I kept giving out my number with a "C" and having to correct myself! Oops!

W3NP Operated by: Dave

Started out on 20 but was slow going for QRP ops as I only had 3 Q's there but my first one of course was Ed W7GVE. Switched to 40 meters and conditions were much better for low power operations. I worked Jack KK0I with his new Eagle in the upper part of the band. Seemed to be a fair amount of activity but didn't work as many as usual. I didn't hear AE0SL. Thanks to John W3HI for giving me my own state of WV. Antenna was the CF Zepp @ 45' and I used the Junker key for most of my contacts. 73 from the Mountain State.

12 40M and 4 20M QSOs using my Ten-Tec R4020 QRP rig and SKCC Pro-Pump key. Antenna is an all band doublet fed with 450 ohm twinlead up 30 feet. Strictly S&P and worked all but one station I called. Lots of fun as usual! TNX to all who dug my signal out of the noise.

Only had time for a couple of contacts but glad I could participate even if only a little.

NØUMP Operated by: Bill

Sorry. I had a typo on the QSO number in the first submission. Good conditions. Worked the last 90 minutes. All on 20M Lot of DX. Thanks for all QSOs. 73, John, K4BAI.

AE7TG Operated by: Allen

Was able to play for most of the first hour. Was happy to make 6 good Q's; and among them bonus station AE0SL and notably ND9M/M. Always enjoy SKCC events! Using Kenwood TS-940S @ 100W into Cushcraft R-8 Vert. Hope to see you all next time. 73, Allen

WS9E Operated by: Joe

I only had a few minutes. Lots of activity and lots of strong signals on 20 and 40 meters. This time I used the Icom 7410 at about 50 watts to my low dipole. I used the old reliable Speed-x key. I had fun. See you next time.

KA5TJS Operated by: Allen

Great sprint and the band on 20 was good. Don't work a lot of these but I had a lot of fun. Hope to see you all next month.

Intersting Band conditions!!! I could barly hr activity until I turned my volume way, way up.. then 419's and 519's and better could be heard as a pileup on each other. Getting through was ruff on 20m from CA at my location, but had fun trying. By the time the band was opening up I was hitting DX and not USA?? Wow what the layers can do to sigs! Hope to do better, only used the Kent straight key. After the event I went back to the sked page to see comments posted there.. guess next time I'll not sign in before any "event" as I forget that with my full page logging I dont see what's going on in the background. Thanks for the qso's and good brass pounding until next time.
P.S. had to get to the hospital as Daugher just gave me my first granson!!! Now I have someone to leave all my "junk!"

AG6V Operated by: Donna

Wow - heard just ONE SKCC member in an hour! Didn't even get the usual slam dunk of "Worked All Petaluma" with W1EJ -- didn't hear him either. S&P and Running just didn't work at my QTH. I wasn't around for 'the good ole days' of easy contacts, so I'm looking forward to 'the good future days' of Sunspots. 73!
