PRESENT...LOOKED FOR W6LAX ON 40M HERD ONCE K3Y/6 WAS NEARBY FREQ. CQ's 20M NO JOY ...LISTENED FOR ZL2BLQ K3Y/OC NO JOY ..AA6AC CA BOB 6276S TRAP VERT VIA KENWOOD TS 830S....TS520 ON REST BREAK.
Conditions poor here in New Hampshire. Managed only 4 QSOs on 40m. 40 meters seems to get worse every month. Did manage to work W6LAX/Roger on 40m for the bonus. Propagation was to the southwest, worked lots of Texas,Arkansas, etc. Surprised to work K3Y/KP4 on 80m.
Yaesu 450 D fed to HB OCF Dipole. Used Navy Flameproof key. Eighty meters matched with MFJ Deluxe Versa Tuner II. Not many booming signals on my end. Overall, heard 4X as many folks than I was able to work. Still was able to add a couple of new contacts to my overall list. Thanks for another fun evening! 73
Pleased to hear some nice activity on 40m this evening. Skip was long again. Best RBN reports were from northeast, northwest and Europe. We have some pretty good fists in this club! That was fun. See you next month, I hope. 73 ... Don
Tried 20M and 40M and could not raise anyone, but 80M sure was hot. Great fun. 72, Steve K4JPN
Portable operations from Mesa, AZ. Limited to 20m operations.
Poor wave here in WNY. Only 1 QSO on 40m.,W6LAX long. Snagged K3Y/KP4 Jose on 80m. Rig: IC-7000 at 100w. into G5RV up 25 ft. w/ old German WWII Junker straight key. 73
Well got 3 on 40 and 3 on 80. Not much activity heard here. Just had one hour to play last night. Did not hear a thing on 20. TNX for the contacts and have a great month. CUL.
Not much activity.... 73 es HNY.
KX3 to a dipole, 5w. Thanks for all the K3Y's. I got /4, /3, and /0, and almost /6. Thanks W6LAX for hanging in there for me. I only got to do the last hour; I need better time management on SKS nights! 72/73 de KI4MZC
It was fun again tonight, thanks to everyone I worked. 73 Dwight, KM4FO
It was fun using the Great Lakes CWops club call on the CWops 10th Anniversary. However, the bands were not in such good shape. 40 was almost deserted, and 80 acted as if there was a thick blanket over the ionosphere. Sigs were generally weak and watery. Kudos go to Jose, KP3W, operating as K3Y/KP4, who pulled my sigs out of the QSB for my first SKCC QSO with the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
I got home in time for a couple of QSOs on 80. Thanks - Until next time - 73's - Brian
Only 20M. Pleased to work JJ1CKN Riko operating as K3Y from Japan. Thanks for the sprints. CUL.
Conditions weren't too bad but there seemed to be a lot less ops on than usual. Nice sigs on 80M. Thanks for the QSOs and the sprint. Kent KT-1, KX3 & 100W amp into an 80M doublet. 73, W4 "Dos Equis"
Thanks to everyone who worked me.
Very late start. Worked K3Y/7 before jumping in. Still fun! 73 to all!
Thanks for all the QSO's. See everyone next month! 73, Mark WB9HFK
I worked late, again, and only had time for one contact but it happened to be the bonus station! Station this time was a 1941 Vibroplex Champion, Flex 3000 at 5w and dipole at 30'. By the time I got on the air it seems like there weren't many signals on 40 and zero on 20m. 73, Kerry, WD5ABC SKCC #12
Forgot the SKS until almost 0130Z. Got on the Flex remote and found 4 others working the SKS. CU next time if I remember!! 73, Mike
