Welcome to the homepage for the FISTS-SKCC Joint Sprint. The object of the sprint is to contact as many members of each club as you can in the allotted time. You may work each station once per band and accumulate multipliers by working as many unique states, provinces, or countries as you can. Each SPC can be claimed only once during the event. Operators earning the top three scores in each category, QRO (100-watts maximum) and QRP (5-watts maximum), will receive certificates.
Hunt for your contacts on or around the calling frequencies each club uses on 40, 20, 15, and 10 meters, and use CQ FS when you are sending out a general call for contacts:
40m | 20m | 15m | 10m |
---|---|---|---|
7.028, 7.055 7.058, 7.120, 7.120 | 14.050, 14.058, 14.114 | 21.050, 21.058, 21.114 | 28.050, 28.058, 28.114 |
Participants may used straight keys, bugs, sideswipers, and iambic paddles. but no computer keying is allowed. SKCC members may apply QSOs with other SKCC members toward club awards, but only if SKCC-approved sending devices are used by each party taking part in the QSO.
The recommended exchange for the joint sprint is an honest RST, your QTH (or SPC), Name, SKCC Number (if you have one), and FISTS Number (if you have one).
